Exciting changes are taking place...
The new version of Red Panda Warrior, Jade Mountain is coming out soon.
The original ebook version didn't have a back cover design, so recently, I made one. In the past I've hired a cover designer but this time I decided to do it myself. I've been envisioning bamboo for the back cover but there's none growing nearby so I found a royalty free image of bamboo that I like and used it as the background.
Few people have seen a red panda before, and it's not like a usual panda at all! So I found a great red panda image that I added to the back cover. I've shortened my author bio and added a new photo, from a hike in Kashmir showing a valley with a river running through it, which goes with the green mountains on the front cover.
And for the front cover...
It has a brand new design!
My partner has been updating it with a vivid new image of Xiu, the protagonist, new mountains in the background, yellow smoke in the foreground... and a surprise. The cover reveal is not quite ready yet, but it will be happening soon.
I'm looking forward to picking up copies of the new print version! To celebrate, I'm planning a launch party in a few weeks' time.
